Description
Villa Iris is an outstanding villa recently built from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the coast and the countryside at the same time. Furthermore it provides complete privacy and a truly relaxing atmosphere.
The property is located in the middle of the amazing Modica countryside and it’s just 3 km far from the nearest beach (Pozzallo).
The house is on two floors and can accommodate up to 10 guests (5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms).
The outdoor area features a well-curated garden with Mediterranean plants and olive trees, and an elegant and large private pool with infinity edge. The solarium is also furnished with sun beds, beach towels and outdoor shower.
Together with the stunning 3000 mq wide garden, a panoramic terrace will be an amazing spot for selfies with your loved ones and where to have dinner, or to enjoy a relaxing aperitivo in the evening.
You will also find a veranda with dining area, an outdoor kitchen and Barbecue.
Once you get inside the house you will clearly feel the brightness and breathe an atmosphere of lightness. The house features a modern and minimal interior design enhanced by beautiful Sicilian-styled furnishings.
From the inside the view is astonishing and relaxing, especially in the morning, while in the late afternoon you will be pleased by the sunset lights that cover the house.
From the outside, you can enjoy the outdoor area and the infinity pool illuminated by night while drinking a good glass of wine .
The ground floor of the house features 4 large bedrooms with their bathroom and one small and nice reading area with a desk.
On the first floor you will find 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and one half bath. Furthermore you will find the main area with a bright living room overlooking the terrace and an open kitchen fully equipped. From this room you will have direct access to the main panoramic terrace.
Independent air conditioning system, flat TV and wi-fi complete the picture of this house which will welcome you with its typical Sicilian allure.

Safety deposit: € 500. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in booking). It’s always valid the right to compensation for higher damage.

Cancellation Policy
For cancellations up to 61 days before the arrival date, no charge.
For cancellations up to 30 days before the arrival date, 50% will be charged.
For cancellations less than 30 days before the arrival date, 100% will be charged.

IsulaTravel provided a very good service overall however, the 2 properties rented out for a week (Villa Althea & Villa Iris) are in my opinion overrated and overpriced (not such good value for money) due to the condition of the amenities in both properties. For example, wifi practically never worked in both villas, sunbeds and chairs were not in good condition and some could not be used, lack of umbrellas by the pool in Villa Althea and a broken umbrella by the pool in Villa Iris, smell of sewage in a couple of the bathrooms of Villa Althea, dishwasher door in Villa Althea was damaged despite the appliance itself worked fine, broken drawers in freezers in Villa Iris, door handles were not appropriately installed. For the price paid, one would expect top notch facilities which unfortunately was not the case on this occasion. It's a pity that the owners of the properties do not maintain/renew/upgrade certain amenities because the outdoor areas of the properties are very nice.
The house was great. Wonderful grounds and nice new update house. Our check in was easy and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and warm pizza bread.
The house, garden and pool, where well maintained and absolutely clean. The view from the top terrace was beautiful. But the street nearby is really hevaily used (much more than other roads of this kind. Seems to be a main connection between Modica and Pozzallo). Probably not an issue if you use the house with 6-10 persons, as there is noise anywhere, but if a couple is looking for a quite place to relax at the pool and read a book, it is.
Beautiful location of the house with wonderful view to the ocean. Clean pool and clean house, which functions really well for more families. The company was fast and helpful at answering my questions, both before and during our stay.
Villa très agréable et très bien conçue dans laquelle nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances en famille. Elle est aussi très bien située pour découvrir les magnifiques sites touristiques de la Sicile baroque. Un grand merci tout particulier à Francesca pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse.
