Description
Villa Ida is a true gem of the hyblean area. The property was originally a big and lively farmhouse then completely renovated in 2021 after four years of work. Situated in the countryside of Modica and just 8 km from the town, the villa has a private swimming pool with jacuzzi and offers an amazing view on the big and well-curated garden.
Villa Ida is divided into two buildings and can accommodate up to 24 people in 8 bedrooms equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. What is worth mentioning is the incredible luxurious interior design, elegant and glamour with the charm of the Sicilian style.
In the main building there is a magnificent living room, a modern and fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the splendid dining room with its large wooden table. Through 2 stairs you access the first floor, where there are 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. One of these bedrooms also has a comfortable double sofa bed. Another staircase leads from the kitchen to the ground floor, where a further living area leads to 2 other bedrooms and the charming cellar for the best local labels tasting.
In the other building, adjacent to the main one, there are 3 spacious annexes, each with a comfortable mezzanine, private bathroom and double bed. Two of these, very spacious, also have 2 additional single beds.
Outside, near the garden, an ancient stable completely renovated, houses a second kitchen with a large table also suitable for large groups. The large door, which leads to the outside of the veranda and the barbecue, make the environment particularly bright and lively.
The style combines tradition and modernity and makes the environment very glamour, perfect for going back in time, enjoying a relaxing holiday and a real slow-life.
The verandas, present on both sides of the villa, are tastefully furnished and allow you to have lunch and dinner outdoors and to enjoy the peace of the countryside and the swimming pool during the day and night.
Villa Ida offers everything you need to spend a relaxing and cultural holiday. In fact, in a few minutes by car you can reach the baroque cities of Modica, Noto, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla. You can also relax by the stunning beaches in the areas of Modica, Ragusa or Noto or the Vendicari Nature Reserve nearby Noto. You will have plenty of experiences to do even outside the villa.

N.B: The villa consists of a main building (5 bedrooms) and 3 other depandances that will be open based on the number of guests. No depandance up to 10 people. 1 depandance up to 12 people. 2 depandance up to 14 people. 3 depandance from 15 people onwards.

This beautiful villa in the Sicilian countryside satisfied or exceeded my expectations. Quite close to Modica and Ragusa you can be in Marzamemi or Noto in 35 minutes.
There are 9 bedrooms of ample size and all with ensuite baths
The highlight for most is the separate kitchen
And dining annex with a convection oven in addition to a six burner gas range
The grounds are lovely and the (unheated) pool is huge
Communication was timely and accurate. The villa was as described, although there are some level changes which make it challenging for accessibility. It's very beautiful and nicely furnished.
I will use this property again for my small group travel tours of Sicily
We spent a wonderful week in August at this stunning villa with our family of 21. There was plenty of space for everyone, with private corners to relax and beautiful outdoor living areas to enjoy together. The villa is tastefully decorated and has fully equipped kitchens, making it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor kitchen house and dining area were perfect for cooking together and enjoying long dinners. The large pool and spacious garden, filled with fruit trees and a vegetable patch, were a highlight. The owner, who stopped by for pool maintenance, warmly encouraged us to pick fresh fruits and vegetables—a gesture we truly appreciated. Ersilia from IsulaTravel, the villa manager, welcomed us on arrival and explained everything thoroughly. She was always quick to respond whenever we needed help and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Ersilia even arranged grocery shopping before our arrival, which made things so much easier. From booking to departure, her service was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or host for our family gathering. Highly recommended!
Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana a Villa Ida e siamo stati benissimo, camere spaziose, zona piscina molta bella e cucina grande dove prepare pranzi e cene per famiglie ed amici. Sicuramente consiglierei Isula Travel ad amici per le vacanze.
The Villa was spacious and will appointed to host our group of 14. The buildings provided ample space for those wanting some quite time, while the large separate kitchen area provided a great central meeting hub. Our host provided great support leading up to our stay and assisted with a chef who provided a lovely meal on our first night. Our Villa was close to Modica and Ragusa, which made it easy for quick trips into town and back to the pool for an afternoon dip before heading back into town for dinner. Absolutely wonderful experience and Villa. I would definitely use IsulaTravel for future Villa bookings.
